Leh is a very small town bustling with tourists during summer months. The town is dominated by the nine-storeyed Leh Palace built in the 1630s by Sengge Namgyal.
Accommodation options in Leh are plenty from family run guest houses to traditional Ladakhi hotels and the fancier new ones. Most of the hotels are located within a radius of 3-4 kms from the race start point which is Shanti Stupa. These hotels and guest houses offer discounts starting from 20% upwards to registered runners of Ladakh Marathon. Please check here to see our list of recommended hotels.
