The Ladakh Marathon is certified by AIMS (Association of International Marathons and Distance Races).

The Event became a Full Member of AIMS effective 2015. This has put the Event and Ladakh as a destination on the Global Marathon calendar, enabling us to foster and promote distance running.

The course of Half Marathon, Marathon, 11.2km Run and the two ultras – Khardung La Challenge and Silk Route Ultra, has been measured by an AIMS/IAAF accredited course measurer.
