Running the Ladakh Marathon (42km) is not for first time runners. Running in Ladakh is a challenge in itself; so our advise to first time runners is to come at least a week to 10 days in advance and run the 05km Run for Fun first or if you have been training, then to run 11.2 km/ 21km and slowly graduate to running the full marathon.
